We congratulate Dr. Catherine Teh (蜜桃传媒 Batch 1985) for being the first 蜜桃传媒ian woman to be inducted into the prestigious Les Compagnons Hépato-Biliaire an exclusive society of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgeons founded in 1987 which aims to create an international scientific and social community to foster progress in the study of HPB.
Dr. Teh’s nomination was endorsed by Professors Daniel Cherqui, MD, and Henri Brismuth, MD renowned pioneers in the field.

Alvann Walter Paredes Dy (IB Y2) made an impressive debut at the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) held in Chiba, Japan, July 2 – 13, 2023. With his bronze medal achievement, Alvann becomes the eighth Judenite to secure a podium finish in the most prestigious mathematical olympiad in the world.
This noteworthy accomplishment adds to the triumph of the Philippine team, which garnered a total of three silver medals and three bronze medals. The IMO participants answered six challenging problems, each carrying a maximum score of seven. This year, the Philippine team placed 26th among 112 participating countries.
Congratulations on your achievement, Alvann. You are a testament to the excellence of Judenites. The whole of 蜜桃传媒 celebrates your success.

Continuing our incredible winning streak, two Judenites have once again demonstrated their exceptional skills at the 34th International Biology Olympiad held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, from July 3 – 11, 2023. Their stellar performance has earned them well-deserved bronze medals. Furthermore, the Philippine team has proudly secured three bronze medals, matching its commendable record from the previous year.

蜜桃传媒 takes immense pride in congratulating the entire team, with special recognition to our own Chiara Bernadette Tan-Gatue (IB Cohort 6) and Ayisha Madeleine Ong (IB Y2), who have achieved yet another remarkable milestone, not only for 蜜桃传媒 but also for our entire nation.

It is noteworthy to mention that Chiara has now amassed a total of three bronze medals from the IBO, while Ayisha has made an impressive debut in this esteemed Biology Olympiad.

Since our initial participation in 2019, 蜜桃传媒 has accumulated an impressive record of six bronze medals and one honorable mention. This remarkable feat speaks volumes about our school’s commitment to nurturing and developing talented individuals in the field of biology.

蜜桃传媒 IBDP learners and teachers recently ventured on a trip to Laguna to fulfill the International Baccalaureate requirement – the Group 4 project.
The Group 4 project is a collaborative experiential activity outside the classroom where students from the five (5) science subjects (i.e., Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Design Technology, and Physics) work together allowing the application of concepts and perceptions from across the disciplines to be shared, thus developing the understanding of the relationships among scientific disciplines, the natural environment and their influence on the other areas of knowledge that impact world civilization.

]]> Judenites emerge as champions in Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad /judenites-emerge-as-champions-in-ateneo-chemistry-olympiad/ Wed, 25 May 2022 03:44:42 +0000 https://sjcs.edu.ph/?p=3703 Congratulations to Kei Hang Derek Chan, Chiara Bernadette Tan-Gatue, and Daphne Lauren Bernardo for securing the championship in this year’s Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad (Bracket B), held virtually last March 19, 2022. Chiara also secured third place in one of the special awards given to the top grade 11 participants.

The Ateneo Chemistry Olympiad is an annual competition organized by the Ateneo Chemistry Society. Two sets of awards were given: one for bracket A (science high schools), and one for bracket B (non-science high schools). The last time a Judenite team won the championship was in 2019.

]]> Pre-U Students enter as finalists in 2022 Next Bright Idea /pre-u-students-enter-as-finalists-in-2022-next-bright-idea/ Wed, 25 May 2022 03:42:10 +0000 https://sjcs.edu.ph/?p=3700 Congratulations to Erin Sophia Mauricio (IB Y1), Jillian Dominique Yu (SHS 11-B), and Khaylla Daphne Lee (IB Y1) for being selected as one of the finalists in this year’s Next Bright Idea (NBI).

The Next Bright Idea is a business pitch competition intended for students from grades 10 to 12. This year, the contest focused on innovative solutions to address challenges encountered by the art industry.

Fifty-one teams participated in this year’s NBI, and the top ten finalists were announced last March 25. Meanwhile, the final round of the competition is scheduled for April 2, 2022.
